You know... in life... in my life, I've come to realize that as long as everyone around me is peaches... then so am I. I cant stand watching people be sad.
I'm not the most unselfish person, but I'm trying to be a nicer person. Whether it's telling your best friend that he's going to be okay and that "there will be others," or telling your sister that everything is happy happy... or lying to your mom and telling her that you still believe in the same Jesus she taught you to know and love. Or just keeping your problems to yourself this once, so you can listen to what others have to say. Or maybe it's giving that last cheesy stick in the pizza box to the one you love. Maybe it's treating your roomies to something nice, or letting snide remarks slide. Maybe it's bridging gaps with people you havent spoken to in 3 years. Maybe it's just trying for once to be happy for others. And maybe after all this "trying" it becomes "doing." Because that's what we're all about here folks -- Proactivity, DOING. So let's all do each other a favor and scratch each other's backs. I know we're all a bit itchy these days. For all you seniors, its our last year in college, let's make it a good one.
I can hear that voice in my head now saying, "okay Edgar, when you're done with your pansy talk, maybe you can get back to that TV show you're watching... the one that everyone should be watching:
man, such a good show. I'm actually only 12 or so episodes into the first season, but I'm absolutely hooked.
