anyway, this morning I decided that I should go for a walk before finding somewhere to settle down and work on my case study. I ended up eating at Smart Alex and while looking outside the window I saw a swarm of bees. Like alot of them. They crowded the intersection of durant and telegraph deterring most from the entrance of Noah's Bagels. It was pretty crazy. and funny. Like I saw this girl bike through the bees (she didnt know that they were there at first) and she yelled "aiiyyeeeeee!" haha.
Now I find myself at Naia gelateria sitting here waiting for something to happen... or for me to start my friggin case study.
I'm pretty much done with school. I'm graduating very very soon. Mooothhheerrrrr....fuu..........ck.
somehow today though, I'm in a rather good mood.
Today my mom called me to tell me that they were going to put our family dog (Brandon) to sleep. He had developed a serious infection due to arthritis in his ankles. He could barely walk, and it was just getting sad.
So they did the humane thing and put him to sleep.
I didn't think I'd be that affected by this, but for some reason, I can't stop being sad. I almost feel like crying as I type this. I think we owned that dog for 14-15 years. That's about 2/3 of my life. Shit.
I miss you buddy.

In other news, I've decided to try to write in this again and share things that I come across as well as start posting music sketches and things of that nature like I used to.

If you could have one superpower, what would you choose?

This is everyone's favorite question. My friends and I always have this discussion -- and one of my friends always comes to the conclusion of, "I would want the power of LAND." Which in other words, basically grants the user the power to fall or jump (purposefully) from any distance height without sustaining any physical damage. The power to land safely from anywhere.
The reason why this is such a kickass power when compared to other more traditional powers (like just plain invulnerability, flight, super speed, etc etc) is because if you think about the social and political ramifications that are attached to such general old school powers, LAND is so much more cooler. Land can be used PURELY for personal gain. If you could fly or could lift buildings... I'm sure the military or someone would try to use you for their benefits. Not only that, you'd be an outcast for sure. Lots of people would hate you just for being different. People would hate you for being "better" than they are. Lastly, following Spiderman logic (that is, "with great power, comes great responsibility") it would suck to have lots of power because you couldnt help but feel obligated to save people. If you saw someone in trouble, and KNEW you could stop this trouble because of your immense power --- I mean, you'd HAVE to save them. It's too hard to not. With the power of "land" no one could really use you for anything... and it's not like you have the most accessible powers ever. You could only go out and have fun with it. People wouldnt really hate you, and you wouldnt feel responsible for everyone. It's perfect.
That aside... I really just want the power of flight. My friend is dumb.
